M.V. Pedulla’s “Personal Creations”


The “Personal Creations” series is the culmination of over thirty years of bass building experience. Michael has broken all of our rules and made one-of-a-kind bass guitars with special woods, custom colors, and other unique modifications that only he could do.

Each and every one of these basses is hand crafted by Michael to his own custom specifications.

The process begins with wood choice. Over the years, Pedulla has collected a limited quantity of unique and spectacular wood. Each and every piece of wood is different, in figure, color tone, patterns and tonal properties. Michael selects and combines these various woods as he would as if the bass were his own. Some are suited to 4- string basses, some to 5- or 6- string basses, and some are suited for specific models in the Pedulla line. His freedom of choice continues throughout the finishing process: Through years of experience, Michael determines which combinations of stains and colors best complement the specific grain and figure of the wood, producing new and exceptional colors. In the final stages of assembly, even the hardware color is chosen to compliment the color and wood of that particular bass. It is a very personal process, one that combines all of Michael’s experience and creative talent.
Each of these limited production bass guitars is numbered, signed by Michael Pedulla, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Only a small number of these special basses will be made. We are offering these Personal Creations with MSP prices of $10,000 for neck-thru-body models and $8,000 for bolt-on neck models.

Sales, as with all Pedulla bass guitars, will be through Authorized Pedulla Dealers and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
